Overview
CPH:DOX (Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival) is the largest documentary film festival in Scandinavia and one of the world's most important documentary festivals, attracting over 150,000 admissions annually[1][4]. It showcases more than 200 innovative non-fiction films from around the world, with a special focus on art, science, society, and hybrid or experimental forms that blur boundaries between cinema and visual art[4][6]. The festival is notable for its strong industry platform, including the CPH:FORUM financing and co-production event, and six competitive sections that launch major theatrical and streaming releases, including 53 world premieres in its 23rd edition[1][7][12].
