Fantaspoa is an amazing festival. Our feature had its World Premiere here, and it was the perfect start to our festival journey. The organizers are friendly, communicative, and so much fun. There's something to do every day, and the festival attracts a large local audience that truly engages with the films. We were also really impressed with the thoughtful Q&A questions. We would absolutely come back to Fantaspoa!

Our UK feature, The Arbiter, had its international Premiere at Fantaspoa and it's been a great experience. The team have been super keeping us up to date with the festival and the reaction - thanks to all.

Fantaspoa was an incredible festival. Meat Crayon screened alongside a wildly strong lineup of shorts from around the world, and the audiences were engaged, curious, and fully game for the ride. The programming is bold (still haunted by some of the films!) and the team behind the festival couldn’t have been more welcoming and supportive. One of the highlights of our festival run—highly recommend for any genre filmmaker looking for passionate crowds and great company.

Fantaspoa held the World Premiere of our Australian short HEADPHONES. Unfortunately none of our team were able to make it for the festival in Porto Alegre, but I would like to extend a huge thank you to the Fantaspoa team, especially from director Nicolas Tonsho, for the communication and correspondence in the lead up to the festival. Nicolas ensured HEADPHONES was in the right programme and that the programme was at the right time due to the timing of another festival as well as ensuring that our film was represented in the best possible way. We hope to return to the festival again with another project and definitely attend in person to experience the best that this leading Latin American festival has to offer.
