Overview
FLIGHT | Mostra Internazionale del Cinema di Genova is a Genova-based festival devoted to cinema as an art form, with an emphasis on independent, poetic, visionary, experimental, and avant-garde work. It is notable for screening films regardless of genre, duration, or country of origin, and for presenting fiction, nonfiction, animation, shorts, feature films, and video art across multiple venues in the city.[3][5][6][7] Its significance in the Italian festival circuit comes from its rapid growth since its 2020 launch and its reputation as one of the country’s most original and innovative festivals focused on adventurous contemporary cinema.[3][6]
