Celebrating nearly two decades of cinema excellence, the NDU International Film Festival is thrilled to enter its 19th edition. NDU International Film Festival is an internationally acclaimed Short Film Festival that was established and organized in 2007 by the Division of Audio-Visual Arts at Notre Dame University. This festival earned a reputation as one of the region's top events, with some of its official selections even advancing to the Oscars. Each year, NDUIFF honors distinguished figures in the cinema and arts industry, recognizing their outstanding contributions and lasting impact on Lebanon and the world. The true spirit of NDUIFF lies in its passionate student volunteers, whose energy drives the festival, as well as in its international and local guests who generously share their expertise with Lebanon’s emerging artists through seminars and workshops, while also building international partnerships with festivals and institutions. NDUIFF remains a leading, free-of-charge platform for emerging artists to showcase their talents at Lebanon’s foremost audience-driven festival, attracting over 5,000 yearly attendees. It offers the chance to screen short films in a renowned, fully equipped opera house with 650 seats, an arena stage accommodating 400, and three additional theatres dedicated to workshops and seminars.
