Overview
Queer Vision at Pride of the Déise is Waterford’s LGBTQIA+ film festival strand, now run as a standalone event in the Pride of the Déise programme. It is notable for centering Irish LGBTQIA+ filmmakers alongside international queer cinema, with a focus on short films that explore queer life, identity, language, and community, including Irish-language and documentary work. Its significance lies in providing a dedicated platform for queer storytelling in Ireland and attracting submissions and audiences from multiple countries, making it an important regional venue in the LGBTQIA+ film festival circuit.

Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
