Overview
The RAGFF Cairo Egypt, or Retro Avant Garde Film Festival, is an independent Cairo-based festival that presents itself as a platform for unconventional and boundary-pushing cinema. It is notable for welcoming a wide range of formats and genres, especially experimental and avant-garde work, alongside shorts, features, documentaries, and other visual-art forms. Its significance in the festival circuit comes from its emphasis on emerging and established talent and its positioning as an international venue for retro and experimental moving-image work.[1][2][3]

Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
