Overview
RIFF, the Reykjavík International Film Festival, is Iceland’s largest and most diverse film festival and one of the country’s most prominent cultural events.[1][3][14] It is known for championing progressive, independent cinema, especially work by emerging filmmakers, while also serving as an important meeting point on the international festival circuit.[1][3][6] The festival is notable for its unconventional screenings and strong emphasis on first and second features, documentaries, and socially engaged films.[1][2][3][8]

Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
