Overview
The Rome Film Fest (Festa del Cinema di Roma) is Italy's premier cinematic event, held annually in October at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, notable for its one of the world's largest red carpets and its official FIAPF recognition as a competitive festival since 2022. It showcases a diverse range of films including fiction, documentaries, animation, experimental works, and mainstream cinema across competitive and non-competitive sections like Progressive Cinema, Freestyle, and Grand Public. The festival serves as a significant 'city festival' that bridges Hollywood and global independent cinema, promoting national and international film culture while honoring cinema history through retrospectives and restored masterpieces.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
