Overview
The Terrifying Thai Film Festival is a Bangkok-based mini-festival focused on horror and other fear-driven storytelling, featuring Thai and international filmmakers, workshops, panel discussions, and an all-night screening program curated by S.P. Somtow. It is notable for treating ‘horror’ broadly to include psychological, environmental, and human-condition stories, and for spotlighting short films through a competition and awards program. As a newer niche genre event, it adds a distinctive Thai voice to the regional horror-festival circuit and serves as a platform for emerging and established genre filmmakers.
