Overview
The Eldoret International Film Festival, established in 2018 in Eldoret, Kenya, is notable for promoting and celebrating Kenyan filmmaking while building a sustainable regional film ecosystem through awards, training, consultancy, and outreach programs.[1][4] It primarily showcases Kenyan short films and a special category for feature-length films, and its screenings and networking activities help raise the profile of local storytellers within Kenya’s wider film festival circuit.[1][2]

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
