Overview
The Explorers Festival is a place for epic stories. The festival is hosted by the Exploration Museum in the town of Húsavík in northern Iceland, at the edge of the arctic. The museum opened in 2014 and the first edition of the festival took place the following year. Films screened at previous editions of the festival include First Man, Kon-Tiki, Into the Inferno, Cosmic Birth, Secrets of a Frozen Ocean, and more.

A fantastic festival, with impeccable communication with the organisers but also amongst film makers (a nice touched from the organisers who ensured we all met each other prior to the event).

The nice folks at Húsavík Explorers Festival selected our film and were easy to work with. They kept us (the filmmakers) up to date on the things they needed, hotel discounts, etc. Honored to take part!

Communication only exists when the festival is interested in collecting informations from filmmakers for the screening event. When the filmmakers send emails asking for informations, communication doesn’t exist. First and last participation!
