Overview
The Kenya International Sports Film Festival (KISFF) in Nairobi is Africa's first and only dedicated sports film festival, founded in 2018 by Safinaz Foundation and Aasif Karim. It is notable for showcasing sports-themed films, documentaries, animation, and related content from Kenya and around the world, and for combining screenings with panel discussions that promote sports culture, storytelling, and industry development. Its significance in the festival circuit is strengthened by its recognition in the FICTS/World FICTS Challenge network, giving it international visibility as a premier sports-film platform in Africa.

Research
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
