Overview
MISSION The Maykop International Film Festival was founded in 2017 and has become an annual cultural event not only for the capital of Adygea but also for Russia as a whole. The festival is organized and run by the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization for the Development of the Arts "Festival Plus". The Maykop International Film Festival offers a platform for filmmakers from around the world to showcase their work. The festival does not impose any restrictions on genres or themes of films. However, all films selected for the festival must comply with Russian law and ethical standards. The festival features an interesting and competitive program where films are screened, followed by discussions and voting. The audience also has the opportunity to ask questions to the organizers and participants of the festival. We invite all filmmakers to participate in the festival and receive feedback from the audience. Prize-winning films will receive awards in various categories, a special jury prize, and the audience award.
