Das Tiroler Kurzfilmfestival wurde 2013 ins Leben gerufen um Filmemachern aller Altersklassen, Herkunft und Erfahrung eine große Bühne für Ihre Selbstgedrehten werke zu bieten. Das erste Festival platzte bereits aus allen Nähten und schnell wurde klar das es noch viel Potential nach oben gab. Stetig wurde das Festival professioneller und größer. Seit 2022 wird das Tiroler Kurzfilmfestival von Anna Etzelstorfer und Dominic Kainzner moderiert. Das Festival wird nach wie vor von Dominic Kainzner geleitet. The Tyrolean Short Film Festival was launched in 2013 to offer filmmakers of all ages, backgrounds and experience a big stage for their self-made works. The first festival was already bursting at the seams and it quickly became clear that there was still a lot of potential for growth. The festival steadily became more professional and bigger. Since 2022, the Tyrolean Short Film Festival has been hosted by Anna Etzelstorfer and Dominic Kainzner. The festival is still managed by Dominic Kainzner. We are delighted to welcome all our guests and would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors, without whom this event would not be possible!

Our film Circle received the Special Jury Award from this small but truly impressive festival. Although they are a small team, they did an excellent job. Don't hesitate to submit your film to this festival.

Though I couldn't attend (with "The forest of souls" / "Stimmenwald"), I think that the communication, before and after the event was quite good. So, I recommend. It'd be great if the festival run on two nights instead of one, I assume...
