Thank you so much with honouring my film "The Great White Whale" with this year's Grand Prize. All of us filmmakers are grateful that your unique Festival exists and we appreciate the hard work that you all do to run it so well. Thank you all so much.
A film is essentially a journey, and finding the right audience is its final destination. Winning at the Travel Film Festival with Komorebi felt exactly like that: arriving at the perfect place. This isn’t just a festival that screens movies; it’s a crossroads for storytellers who capture the soul and essence of the world. The recognition here means the world to me. A brilliantly curated event run by a team that truly understands the art of visual exploration. Thank you for this profound honor!
FilmFreeway reviews are filmmaker opinions, not our score. Cross-check red flags before paying fees.
Live web research is off to control API cost. This shows cached scheduled research when available, plus analysis from our database.
Hard research (cheap model + thorough prompt) runs on a cron for suspicious festivals; a biweekly job refreshes others. No live API calls from the site.
Scores are calculated from structural indicators: accreditations, physical screenings, award category count, submission frequency, and acceptance rate. Higher scores reflect more verifiable legitimacy signals.
